Cordoba Treasure Hunt

Cordoba Team Treasure Hunt

Cordoba is one of the jewels of Spain and part of the “golden triangle” of Andalucia with Sevilla and Granada.

Although founded by the Romans, whose bridge still crosses the Guadalcavir River,  it was the Moors who made the city one of the most important in medieval Europe.

Indeed from their arrival in the 8th their impact was – and has been profound. In its day this city of Al Andalus rivalred even the mighty Constantinople in spendour and grandeur reflected in the innumerable palaces and public buildings as well as some 300 mosques.

The arrival of the Christians in the 13th century, under Ferdinand III, brought a new era for the city turning Cordoba’s Great Mosque into a cathedral building the  Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos and the Torre Fortaleza de la Calahorra.

The historic old town is the perfect urban setting for your Cordoba Team Treasure Hunt – Its thousands of years of human occupation and the cultures of Roman, Visigoth, Islam, Judaism and Christian inhabitants are brought to life as your teams navigate through its wondrous narrow streets to uncover its many hidden gems.

We offer various versions of the Old City Hunt – which can be adapted and modified for competiveness, duration and themes – with the possibility of adding gastro challenges for its unique tapas culture or save that till the end for the final destination as we go through the answers for to give the winning team prizes!
